I found a quote the other day. It went something like "
"once you've learnt something, its hard trying to remember what is was like before you learnt it -thats what makes great teachers so rare."
Thats what makes the ability to explain things so amazing. No one can explain that feeling you get when you successfully teach someone. It doesnt have to be anything massive like quantum physics or the functions of every single organelle in a cell for someone who wants to be ... a painter. Just little things. Like giving someone a hint in english as to what significance the quote has to the theme.
One of my mates said to me a few weeks ago
"Your so good at explaining things. You know when to help people and when to let them work it out for themselves. You know how much help they need when they do need help - i guess it comes with that whole teaching thing"
That is awesome. I love it when people say stuff like that. It gives me Warm Fuzzies . Haha
